Time and Place: Unless otherwise
noted, colloquia will take place from
11:30 am-12:30 pm in the
building 56 large conference room. Colloquia will be preceded by
coffee starting around
11:00 am
and will be followed by lunch at a
local restaurant.

Security Requirements: New security requirements have been put
in place that require visiting colloquium attendees to have a USNO
sponsor. Please contact your USNO point of contact with whom you are
acquainted and request their assist by submitting your name to the
Colloquium Coordinator at least two days prior to the colloquia.
Visitors without sponsorship will not be authorized entry onto the U.S.
Naval Observatory grounds. All visitors must have a picture
identification and will be given a visitor's badge at the gate which
must be worn at all times and returned to the Security Police on your
departure. Add additional time prior to arriving at your meeting for
issuance
of a visitors badge and vehicle inspections. Non-U.S. citizens must
be sponsored by two USNO sponsors. Directions: Entry will be via the
South Gate only. If traveling south on Massachusetts Ave. NW, proceed
past the Observatory's Main Gate and turn right at the next traffic
light, which is Observatory Circle. The South Gate is at the end of
the road. If travelling north on Massachusetts Ave. NW, Observatory
Circle is at the traffic light by the British Embassy. Turn left and
proceed to the end of the road. Security guards will check your
vehicle,
ID, and direct you to the parking area. The colloquium will be held
